BSI Clinical Immunology and Allergy Section (CIAS) Executive Committee

The CIAS aims to:
  • foster excellence in the practice of immunological medicine
  • represent the wider Clinical Immunology and Allergy community
  • reduce fragmentation, and allow the community to speak with one voice at trust, college and DoH level
  • enhance communication between the scientific and Clinical Immunology communities
The CIAS Executive Comittee is comprised of the BSI’s Clinical Secretary and Chief Executive as well as a representative nominated by each of the major stakeholder groups as outlined in the table below. Further members may be co-opted as required.
 
The CIAS Executive Committee meets three times a year. DRAFT minutes of the most recent meeting (7th Feb 2013) are available.
 
A constitution has also been developed which provides further details about the work and governance arrangements of this section of the BSI.
