If you were a past member of the BSI and there has been a gap in your membership, please include your past BSI membership number (if known) or any changes in your name to assist with linking your application with your past records.
All UK members may put the cost of their Society subscription against their tax liability and thus reduce the real costs of being a member substantially.
Continuity of membershipContinuous membership is required for some membership benefits (e.g. travel awards) and members are therefore reminded of the need to renew their membership annually. If there has been a break in continuity, please speak to our
Membership Administrator to discuss the circumstances and the options available.
